According to Government Gazette No 50073, dated 2 February 2024, the National Minimum Wage will be adjusted from 1 March 2024. The increase will be 8.5%.
The Department of Labour’s Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES) branch says it will embark on a National blitz campaign in February to assess the levels of compliance with labour laws – in particular, the newly introduced National Minimum Wage.
