McCarthy Attorneys Inc. was established in 2001 by Robert McCarthy. In 1998 Rob McCarthy worked as the Legal advisor for the Department of Health in KwaZulu-Natal, until May 2001, while at the same time acting for his own clients as a labour and land law specialist. In May 2001, he left the Department of Health to be able to devote his full attention to his clients.

McCarthy Attorneys Inc. have 20 years of experience with land claims, labour tenant claims (Labour Tenants Act) and all other types of land disputes. We can assist with any issues relating to occupiers as defined in the Extension of Security of Tenure Act. We can further assist with water rights issues (Water Use License Act).
Employment and Labour Law
McCarthy Attorneys Inc. give advice on all matters dealing with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act, including all contracts and documents necessary in terms of these acts, disciplinary issues, wage negotiations, CCMA Arbitrations, retrenchments, Employment Equity reports and Skills Development issues.
